BAYFORD MEADOWS TEAM ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Introduction — The Bayford Meadows Pro Kart and Rotax Max Team Endurance Championships will be contested over seven rounds at Bayford Meadows. The championships are open to teams using karts as defined in the current Technical & Race Regulations.
Prokart Endurance 2008
CHAMPIONSHIP REGULATIONS
CR1 TITLE AND JURISDICTION.
The championship will be known as the Bayford Meadows 2008 Summer Prokart Championship organised by the Bayford Meadows Kart Club in accordance with these championship regulations, the race regulations, the specific race regulations and the technical regulations for the event.

CR3 COMPETITORS
All drivers must be members of Bayford Meadows Kart Club and be in possession of a valid Minimum of an MSA competition licence or have satisfied the organisers of their competence. Registration for the Championship is automatic on joining the club.
CR4 CHAMPIONSHIP CONTENT
The championship rounds are as listed overleaf.
CR5 CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SCORING
Championship points will be awarded for each race (both the sprint and feature race score equal points) 1st=50pts, 2nd=45pts, 3rd=43 decreasing by two points for each place thereafter. The best 12 results of the 14 races to count.
CR6 AWARDS
Championship awards will be 1st- 3rd or in a ratio of 1:5
CR7 RACE ORGANISERS
Clerk of the course: The race organisers will use their best endeavours to ensure that the championship clerk of the course is present at each round of the championship.
The Clerk(s) of the course appointed for the championship and each event will have absolute jurisdiction. The clerk of the course’s decision is final and binding on each team and every driver.
CR8 PENALTIES
Penalties — Digressions from the race regulations will be penalised in accordance with the list of penalties as per the current Endurance race technical and sporting regulations. Other matters will be at the sole discretion of the clerk of the course and may vary from a verbal warning to a driver, to exclusion of the whole team from the championship.
Specific Race Regulations
SR1 Bayford Meadows Kart Club will organise meetings on the dates shown overleaf
SR2 The meetings will be held under the current Technical & Race Regulations
SR3 The meetings are open to drivers who satisfy the licensing requirements as listed in championship regulation 3
SR4 The meetings will form part of the seven meeting summer championship, with entrants best 12 of 14 races to count.
Trophies will be awarded to a ratio of 1 in 5 for the feature race, it is hoped that additional prizes will be secured for the sprint race.
SR5 The timetable for each event will be as detailed overleaf
SR6 The maximum number of karts for each race will be 30, which will be taken in order of entry
SR7 Each driver is required to complete 3 laps within the practice period
SR8 No karts are to be driven anywhere other than from the dummy grid onto the circuit. The use of motorised pit bikes and scooters (including micro scooters) or the like are forbidden
SR 9 Judges of Fact are: Chief lap scorer Laps completed-finishing order
Chief scrutineer Kart safety-eligibility Environmental scrutineer Sound levels
SR 10 List of officials:- As per Championship officials
SR 11 Television coverage is not expected
SR 12 Entries are open on publication of these SR’s and are closed at noon on the Wednesday before the event. All entries must be accompanied with the correct fee and sent to: Bayford Meadows Kart Circuit, Symmonds Drive,Eurolink Industrial Estate,Sittingbourne,Kent,ME10 3RY
SR 13 The entry fee will be £100 per round which is inclusive of VAT at 17.5%.
SR 14 Entries may be refused if they are incomplete or unpaid. Additional information required with the entry form includes race chassis number. Drivers must be designated on the entry form
SR 15 The organisers reserve the right to postpone, cancel, or abandon the whole event or a race or races through reason of force majeure, inclement weather or bad light. The organisers reserve the right to retain a proportion of the entry fees to defray the cost incurred
SR 16 The names of Officials will be listed and displayed on the official notice board at each meeting
SR 17 Provisional results will be displayed following the race and will then be uploaded onto www.mylaps.com after each event.
SR 18 Each team should have their own transponder fitted in accordance with MSA regulations. Teams may hire transponders for £10
SR 19 Gearing – 20t —73t
SR 20 Pit Stops- Each kart must make a pit stop during the 90 min. race. At the stop the kart must be pushed by the driver under a set of limbo poles before rejoining the race.
SR 21 Medical facilities — as a minimum 1 Paramedic and 1 Ambulance
SR22 Weight – 180kg
SR23 Tyres — Bridgestone YDS Dry / YDK Wet. (Max. One new set per meeting)
SR24 The timed qualifying session will decide the sprint race grid, whilst the finishing positions from the sprint race will be used for the grid for the feature race. Race starts may be either rolling or standing.
Rotax Endurance 2008
