Then read on, a Bayford Meadows Open Hire Kart Event could be just what you’re looking for! Come along and race against other members of the general public at one of our regular scheduled Race Nights, which allow small groups and individuals to take part in large events. Minimum age, 18 years. There is the choice of the regular scheduled Race Night – see under ‘Hire Series’ or the Seasonal events which are independent team events. Charity Fundraising Event for Kent Air Ambulance Circuit owner Gerry Lilley is doing a sponsored 350km cycle ride in Cuba in aid of this worthy charity. If you are a small group of friends and would like to take part in a large event then book your space on the grid and help us boost his donation by taking part in this open hire kart event. | Hire Series – The Bayford 50 Throughout the summer months, there are two options for the monthly Thursday ‘Race Night’ evenings. The evenings feature a double header of a Championship Race for either individual drivers or teams of 2 drivers. The series is designed for all those enthusiastic drivers who would like to race on a regular basis. Championship points are allocated for both classes but one-off entries from experienced karters are always welcome. Each combined event includes a 15 minute practice and qualifying session and a 50 minute race. Event cost £80 per kart/teamThese events are designed for individual drivers or teams of two. As championship points are allocated to each class (individual or team)it is not necessary for the individual drivers to make a pit-stop during the race. The summer championship will be decided by calculating the best 6 of 7 scores achieved.
